Rapunzel

Rapunzel, a poetic tale of family bonds, hard to break... Love conquering all and faith beyond all doubt! A YARD youth theatre production directed by Rachael Young. This production has been written by Leah Chillery.

Leah is an actor and a writer from Nottingham, whose play EARL OF MO’BAY was shortlisted for the Alfred Fagon Award at the Royal Court. Subsequently she has gone on to write several pieces for theatre, radio and television. Just completed recording her second radio play for BBC Radio 4 called BAD BY DEFAULT and has been further commissioned to write another radio play called WALKING ON SUNSHINE. She has storylined for the hit show TWO PINTS OF LAGER AND A PACKET OF CRISPS, BBC 3’s GROWN UPS and the current series of MY FAMILY.
