Expressions of interest are sought for Windows, an opportunity for artists, dancers, writers, actors, makers and musicians to temporarily fill empty street-facing spaces with their activities. It is intended that these spaces will become places of doing in public: collecting, making, testing, rehearsing, sharing, showing and performing. Proposals of differing duration are invited, from part of one day to many weeks. Proposals will be assembled into a programme for a particular space following interviews with selected applicants.
There is generous funding to cover costs and artists fees, to be allocated during the commissioning process as commissions are curated.
Please see http://www.amillionminutes.org/briefs for more information.
Deadline is 10am Friday 31st August.
