Art Gallery Manager full- time role in an established Bath gallery. A dynamic, highly motivated, organised, experienced gallery/business manager is sought for a Contemporary Art gallery. You should be able to work under your own initiative in a role which requires you to develop business strategy as well as to undertake the daily administration and sales.

Experience The successful candidate with have a background and proven experience in: Sales of art work in the primary market (a good understanding of the Secondary market would be an advantage). Achieving and excelling sales targets and driving the success of the business. Commercial client negotiations, networking and artist liaison. Marketing and promotion of exhibitions and private views events Organising Exhibitions and Art fairs. Hands-on practical skills necessary to hang exhibitions with attention to minute details.

Skills. You will be a charismatic, confident professional. You will be an effective and excellent communicator. You will have the ability to administrate all aspects of the business from accurate stock keeping to web -updating. You will be proficient in budgeting and record keeping. You will have an excellent face to face manner and will be well presented.

The Company. The gallery holds exhibitions of quality art works from established UK artists in both the gallery and at art fairs in the UK and internationally.
