Salary: £18,541 (Unqualified) - £24,771 pro rata (£6,304 - £8,422)
Hours: 0.34 FTE working two days per week (Wed/Fri) 285 contact hours plus associated admin

Leeds College of Art has played a central role in providing specialist education in art, design and the crafts for more than 150 years and has a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our past students. On the 1st August 2011 we became the country's newest Higher Education Institution.
The opportunity has arisen for a series of vacancies on our popular Extended Diploma Art & Design programme.
The posts are primarily within the first year of the programme and have arisen at an exciting time in its development as we have just restructured and are moving from the Edexcel Extended Diploma Specification to the UAL Extended Diploma Specification.
Following career progression a vacancy has arisen on our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design. Working as part of a team delivering the first year studio programme, you will be required to teach a range of activities that form the building blocks of art and design including, drawing, design, 3D & 2D studies. From February you will be required to contribute to the delivery of a specialist pathway. The role includes the delivery of aspects of the critical and contextual programme in seminar groups. You will also have personal tutor responsibility.
All successful candidates will have a degree in a relevant subject, a teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake one) and relevant teaching experience. Ability to enthuse and inspire students from a range of different prior experience/backgrounds is essential
