Call for proposals - The Big Draw at Rufford
The Big Draw at Rufford, Rufford Gallery, Rufford Country Park, Nottinghamshire NG22 9DF
To apply for this project;
Artist(s) must be available to work in Rufford Gallery from Monday 26th October to Sunday 1st November (inclusive) Autumn gallery opening time is 10.30am until 4.30pm.
Please write a brief proposal (no more than 2 sides of A4 at 12 point) outlining;
How you would like to use the space
How you would engage visitors
Which media you plan to use
A timetable of the activities you plan for the week
What you would like the space to look like by day seven
Any technical requirements for installation of your ideas
An estimated breakdown of how you would allocate project budget
The fee for the project is £1,500 with an additional materials budget of up to £250 available. No additional expenses will be paid. We are happy for two or more artists to collaborate on this project however this is the total budget available.
Please send your proposal by email to jess.kemp@nottscc.gov.uk please type “Big Draw at Rufford Proposal” in the subject line.
The deadline for receipt of proposals is noon Wednesday 5 August.
After the closing date we will make our selections and inform all applicants of the outcome by email by Friday 21 August.
