Nottingham Contemporary, one of the UK’s leading centres for contemporary art, is seeking an outstanding individual to contribute to a major fund-raising initiative, following our successful bid for Art Council England’s Catalyst scheme. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in international contemporary art and the arts in general. Success will enable us to extend our artistic programme in new ways.
The post-holder will work with the Director, the Board of Trustees, the Head of Communications and Development and other senior staff to initiate and support individual and corporate fund-raising particularly in the Nottingham area and in the art world.
The post requires excellent communications skills, in person and in writing, together with initiative, motivation and first-rate organisational abilities. The post-holder will be a graduate with at least two years experience in some of the following fields: fundraising, P.R., event organisation and relationship/account management. Knowledge and experience of contemporary art and its contexts is highly desirable.
