Gallery Oldham and heritage services have established an excellent reputation for innovative participatory formal education and family programmes, community engagement and partnership working.
We are seeking an experienced, creative and energetic Education Development Officer to join our team
Applicants should have experience in the following areas:
A recognised qualification or degree in a relevant area of work (e.g education, museum and heritage studies, visual arts, professional arts practice etc)
Working with schools to co-ordinate learning development initiatives including project initiation, delivery and evaluation.
Design and delivery of learning initiatives, workshops and sessions.
Ability to assess the outcomes and outputs of learning initiatives and projects.
Community engagement e.g with schools/community groups etc
Managing project workers and freelance artistsand a track record of building and sustaining partnerships.
Grade 5 .Salary: £20,858- £24,646 p.a.
Hours: 36.40 per week
Based: Gallery Oldham, Cultural Quarter, Greaves St, Oldham, OL1 1AL
Closing Date: Friday 14th September 2012, 5pm.
