Cultural & Contextual Studies (CCS) delivers core modules that feed into a range of degree programmes: Digital Film Production, Fashion, Fine Art, and Graphic Design. The successful candidate will be asked to design and teach undergraduate modules, and will be able to demonstrate an ability to make Cultural & Contextual Studies relevant to practice-based students. Applications are encouraged from the full range of art and design areas, but we would particularly welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of cultural and contextual studies as it relates to fashion or fashion and film.
Candidates should be able to evidence methods for effective teaching, learning, assessment and pastoral support at Higher Education level. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, organised and flexible, and also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills along with a willingness to work well within a small team.
