New Art Exchange (NAE) is a ground breaking, award winning and internationally recognised arts space in the heart of inner city Nottingham. The venue is dedicated to promoting excellence in contemporary culturally diverse visual arts through exhibitions, events and education initiatives. NAE also has a strong commitment to developing engaging and accessible programmes inspired by the venue’s immediate community.
We are seeking to appoint a creative and energetic Marketing & Communications Manager to help drive us through an exciting phase of our development. The post holder will lead a small marketing team and deliver our marketing activity in order to maximise attendance to NAE and develop our profile locally and nationally through devising appropriate marketing campaigns, developing media relations, producing printed materials and managing our digital/online presence.
You will be a highly motivated, passionate and a committed professional, with at least three years experience of marketing, communications and audience development.
Applicants should also have an understanding of, or the desire to develop an understanding of, cultural diversity, contemporary artistic practice, and the nuances of public venues with a focus on both arts/culture and community.
