ICIA is looking to expand its current range of visual art courses and workshops and would like to announce an Open Call for submissions from artists and creative practitioners.
We are particularly interested in submissions that relate to ICIA’s visual arts programme of exhibitions and events. In this initial call out we are looking for a wide range of proposals for courses; from the traditional to the adventurous. We’re interested in your practice and your ideas and how it could relate to our 2013 programme. Based at the University of Bath, our classes are aimed at both the student population and members of the public.
ICIA presents a regular programme of curated exhibitions, dance, music and professional theatre plus a range of arts courses. The emphasis of the programme is to support, develop and platform contemporary artistic practice through the commissioning of new work, artists-in-residence and off-site projects. Through partnership working and collaboration, ICIA works with artists who are engaging in new ideas and reflect current thinking within contemporary society.
