Höstöare seeking applicants for a micro-residency in Manchester for 3 days from the 29thJune - 1stJuly. Höstöwill provide a space for production and discussion; facilitating both group activities and individual open-ended experimentation, in an intense and stimulating environment.

Höstö want an open situation and aim to facilitate experimentation and innovation in contemporary art by stimulating dialogue between artists and audience. We place a strong emphasis on the experience of community and collaboration and its relationship to developing sustainable, self-led practices

Our residency will offer you accommodation for the 3 days and a studio space in a large, empty retail unit in Manchester. Local artists will be able to use the studio space beyond the project for free. We will provide some materials, and have organised a series of talks and performances by invited curators and artists, to help stimulate discussion.

The residency is free of charge, but artists will be expected to cover their own transport costs.
