Part-time teaching - critical & cultural studies programme, University of Hertfordshire

A tutor is required to teach two level 5 modules on the Critical and Cultural Studies Programme in the School of Creative Arts at the University of Hertfordshire from September 2012.

One module is concerned with the relationship between film and fashion. The other examines design and theories of consumption. The modules will both run on a Wednesday and together will make up a full days teaching for the right candidate although applications for teaching individual modules are welcome too.

This is a visiting lecturer contract for approximately 1 day a week from September 2012 to February 2013 with some hours in June 2013 for examination boards.

The role carries approximately 120 teaching hours. Duties include the preparation and delivery of lectures and associated teaching materials, management of Studynet module site, assessment and attendance at meetings as required. This role would suit an early career researcher who wishes to complement their studies with some teaching in the field.

For further details, please contact Kim Louise Walden, Critical and Contextual Studies Coordinator, School of Creative Arts, University of Hertfordshire by email. To make an application, please submit a cover letter and CV to the same address K.Walden2@Herts.ac.uk by 30th August 2012 at the latest.
