Trade Gallery - Graduate Placement
20 days graduate placement at Trade in Nottingham includes a graduate training bursary of £1000 -
Trade is one of Nottingham's key artist-run galleries, seeking to provide additional routes of engagement and criticism with contemporary art.
The graduate placement aims to give our audience better access to our activities both online and offline. We’re looking for somebody with a critical viewpoint and an enthusiasm for the D.I.Y artist-run style of Trade. The placement will involve everything from the nuts and bolts work of preparing the space for exhibition to the strategic, conceptual activities needed to create contemporary art exhibitions and events.
The successful candidate will help in all areas of Trade's activities including the production of new content for http://www.tradegallery.org/ researching for 'Elements MA', developing current marketing activities and preparing the new gallery space.
Eligibility
- Eligible applicants must have graduated within the last three years from Nottingham Trent University
- Will be able to commit to two days a week for ten weeks.
To apply please send a short statement no more than one side of A-4 which includes, why you would be suitable for this placement, include any related experience and your availability from the 7th of February.
