Video Editor and Cameraperson, National Theatre

The National Theatre are currently recruiting for a Video Editor and Cameraperson to join our growing Digital Media department. This position will support and enable the ongoing success of our international production of War Horse throughthe creation of a range of digital and rich media assets.

As War Horse and the aims of the Digital Media team continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and creative camera operator and editor to join our team as a full-time audio visual producer to facilitate the delivery of engaging, high quality, branded digital content for a variety of platforms and territories.

The Cameraperson and Editor will report directly to the Head of Digital Media, and work closely with the War Horse team and Digital Content Producer to produce video/audio content and administer the editing suite. We are looking for someone to capture the creative life of the NT and War Horse on camera and make films from new and archive footage. The job will be split approximately 50/50 between War Horse and other Digital Media work, however there will be times where War Horse will be a first priority.

This position will be reposible for:

- Filming/recording required footage
- Editing films, both creatively and to a brief, and deliver to given deadlines
- Administering rushes and delivery of formatted content using Final Cut Server
- Providing support and information for freelance filmmakers working with the NT
