We seek final proposals for works inhabiting liminality and the spaces between language, performance, music and software. The following ideas are intended as a catalyst:
The Paris '68 slogan: 'Take your dreams for Reality' ought to be taken as a practical methodology. Our first task is intellectual violence - to unlock, jolt, or re-examine our collective 'psychic-integrity'. The method is to show that reality is not fixed, but porous, fragile and reprogrammable. Our second task ought to be constructive: nothing less than helping to describe the language with which the world, including ourselves, is programed - and to reprogram the world. This language will be music.
A collective experimental event will take place at ]Performance S P A C E [ in London on 6th July 2012. Works considered in any live medium. Submissions accepted on a rolling basis. Please email protoPLAY.collective@hotmail.com
