British Art Show Fringe in 2010.

I'm writing to invite you to a short talk and discussion regarding the British Art Show Fringe in 2010.

The British Art Show 7 will be curated by Lisa LeFeuvre and Tom Morton and for the first time ever will launch in Nottingham at New Art Exchange, Nottingham Contemporary and Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery. It will launch in October 2010 and Nottingham Visual Arts is co-ordinating a 3 month long Fringe Festival that will build upon the success and achievements of Sideshow in 2006.

There will be a number of ways in which artists groups, individuals, organisations, non-art related shenanigans, site specific art works, performers, dancers, live artists, musicians, print makers, knitters, designers, gastronomists, restaurateurs, critics, curators, property owners, entrepreneurs, flaneurs, filmmakers, writers, poets and other animals can be involved. Attend this meeting to find out how.

Please forward this invitation to anyone who you think will be interested in hearing more. The meeting will be minuted for anyone who is unable to attend and will be available via the Nottingham Visual Arts website or on request in due course.


This will take place at Moot, One Thoresby Street, Nottingham NG1 1AJ
at 6pm prompt on FRIDAY 11th September.


The easiest way to find it is to go to Bio City on Pennyfoot Street and carry on until you reach the junction with Manvers Street, it's a big tall redbrick Victorian Factory. Here's a link to a googlemap to there .
